The mission of Chamblee Methodist Kindergarten is to create an atmosphere in which children develop a sense of self-worth, a love of learning, and respect for others and a foundation for their future education.
We offer preschool and kindergarten classes for children aged 2 through 5 during the school year.
Located inside Chamblee First United Methodist Church, our program has been serving children since 1958. We are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
We welcome children of all faiths, races, and ethnic origins.

What Parents Say:
Without any doubt our child received more attention face to face from a teacher than we believe he would’ve gotten in a larger classroom. Attending PreK in the public school he may not of had that opportunity to be guided by his teachers. We believe this helped very much with the social aspects.
Such a loving, caring, welcoming, safe, and positive environment with a Christian focus. Also appreciate that everyone knows my child by name.
Warm, nurturing attitudes of the teachers and staff. Small, local feel of the school. The fact that my girls learn songs about Jesus and come home singing them. Chapel — I get tears in my eyes every time.
The way the entire staff loves the children and program. Spring sing, mystery reader and muffins for moms are all amazing parts of the program. I am a working mom and these events help me to strive towards work-life balance.
